Born to Run Baton Rouge

The Woman’s New Life Center invites you to attend our annual “Born to Run” 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, November 12, 2016, to benefit the center’s goal of providing support for women and their unborn babies. 

The run/walk will begin at 9:00 am at North Boulevard Town Square and will end with a “Birth” Day Party for participants, featuring delicious food and live music. This event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and experience levels, including a one-mile fun run and a 5K course around the State Capital Building.

Woman’s New Life Center provides professional counseling, ultrasounds, case management, adoption facilitation and a host of other services for unplanned pregnancies and reproductive health issues.

“We have had the privilege of caring for hundreds of families each year,” said CEO Angie Thomas. “We’re so thankful that we’ve been able to bring the community together through events like this while at the same time helping women in unplanned pregnancies, who face many challenges and need our support.” 

The event is open to individuals and groups of all ages.
